LighBooth is museum exhibit that was meant to provide an engaging user experience to the user. This concept was developed after gaining insights from doing user research, body storming, sketching, and prototyping. Design Methods Used: Prototyping, Bodystorming, Sketching, Ethnography

AVATS is an audio-video collaboration system initially developed for the eScience 2008 conference. The goal of this system was to enable online users to view the live stream at the conference while allowing them to discuss online events, and communicate with presenters during on-going presentations in real-time. The system also allowed viewing of the upcoming schedule of events, adding the event to your google calendar, and the ability to view archives of presentations and discussion.
AVATS has been deployed at several conferences including:

The MSI-CIEC has been developed to support researchers at Minority Serving Institution to connect with each other and with the education, outreach, and training services that are designed to serve them, expanding their participation in cyberinfrastructure research efforts. In the MSI-CIEC portal, users can create public profiles to describe their research interests and annotate them with tags, create bookmarks of URLs with tags, and search information by using own tags or tags created by others.Technologies Used: CSS/XHTML, Adobe Spry Framework, Adobe Photoshop, PHP/MySQL
